Underneath that front, Matt is a very sensitive and caring person. He doesn't like to show his feelings that much, but there are times *Like in Sub-Zero Ice Punch* where his true feelings come out. Not to mention he is very brave, and has risked his life to save others, especially T.K. All in all, he might be the self-proclaimed cool one to others, but he's a really nice guy. Matt cares a lot about his little brother, T.K. He would do just about anything to take care of him, like that time in Sub-Zero ice Punch when he would not stop looking for him even though he was very sick *teardrop*. Very sweet. Also, he seems to regret not being able to be there for T.K. more, since his parents divorced and he rarely gets to see T.K. One thing that really is just and only a Yamato thing: Whenever Matt is down or thinking, he takes out his harmonica and plays this really sad tune. Okay, um, anyway... Friends and Family: Takeru *T.K* Takaishi - Can we say, "Duh." T.K is Matt's younger bro who Matt cares a lot about. He would do just about anything to take care of him, like that time in Sub-Zero ice Punch when he would not stop looking for him even though he was very sick *teardrop*. Very sweet. Also, he seems to regret not being able to be there for T.K. more, since his parents divorced and he rarely gets to see T.K. Taichi *Tai* Kamiya- Okay. I know it seems that the two cannot stand each other at times, but I don't think that's true. In my opinion, they are actually pretty close. In the second episodem "Garurumon", Matt tells Tai how he and T.K. are realy just half brothers. When Tai remarks, "That explains a lot," Matt runs off and plays his harmonica. Tai watches from a distance. He's trying to figure out Matt. Also, the whole episode in Sub-Zero Ice punch. When Tai and Matt get into the fistfight, Matt shows his feeling to Tai and actually cries. That shows that Matt trusts Tai. Also, in the episode,"The Prophecy", Matt and Tai hold hands *not like that, ppl* when they're going to be shot by Angemon and Angewomon in order to get Agumon and Gabumon to go Mega. That wuz very cute. Tsunomon/Gabumon/Garurumon/Weregarurumon/Metalgarurumon/-Okay. You guys should know this. Gabumon is Yamato's digimon. Matt found his partner first as Tsunomon, who then Digivolved to Gabumon. Whenever Matt's in trouble, he then Digivolves to Garurumon, and with the help of Matt's Crest of Friendship, he digivolves into WereGarurumon. Can we say "WAYYY KEWL!!!??" Okay. Enough hysterics. When it's needed, Gabumon can then further Digivolve into his Mega form, MetalGarurumon *he's jet propelled! How cool is that??*. But Gabumon is more than just a war partner. He's also a close friend. He helps Matt out with social situations since Matt has a tendency to be distant, and tries to cheer Matt up whenever he's down. He once even took off his fur to keep Matt from getting an even worse cold than he already had.... Now that's being a friend.
